ENIGMA ASL Perfusion Working Group
The ENIGMA ASL Perfusion Working Group aims to carry out meta-analysis of arterial spin labeled (ASL) perfusion MRI data collected across the lifespan from children, adults and elderly populations. The initial analysis is expected to include ASL data of over 500 healthy adults and around 200 elderly subjects with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia as well as age matched controls through ADNI. Special research focuses include effects of several important genes on cerebral blood flow (CBF) including APOE, serotonin and dopamine transporters, BDNF, COMT and MAO-A genes, etc. In addition, we will analyze effects of these genetic variants on brain morphology.
Please contact JJ Wang and Kay Jann for information on joining the ENIGMA-ASL Perfusion Working Group.
